I am new to the world of blogging. I am not sure what all to share on my first post, but I can start out with sharing who I am and why I am here. My name is Tabatha Barclay, I am an HR Professional by day and a professional crafter at night. 7 years ago, at my very first crop event, I created a card for the first time ever with a product that had templates, specialty paper, embellishments and sentiments. Huh? These were all new terms I had never heard before. I was instantly hooked with that first card creation.
After this event, I became a creative partner with that paper product company. I was what you call a Hobbyist in the business, not so much a saleswoman. Around the same time joining this Company, I met Julie Gilson with Stampingala.com at the time she was dating my Uncle. I learned that Julie is an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator. She creates beautiful cards with Stampin’ Up paper crafting products. Over the years Julie would say to me, “When are you joining my team?”. I would make a sly comment and we would laugh. She knew one day I would cave.
Fast forward….I caved! LOL On October 1, 2024 I joined Julie’s team. I am excited to share what I have learned so far; what products Stampin’ Up has to offer. I hope you enjoy my first vlog.
